  1. Eddie is the leader of his 6 siblings even though he isn't the oldest.I don't think there is anything wrong with this because everyone has different personalities even if you are related. Like me and my brother and total opposites and i am 2 years younger than him, we are different kinds of leaders.

    2. on page 32 the author is talking about how Eddie learned to surf right after he learned to walk and he chose to do it, his dad didn't make him.

    3. " Men of the sun and the sea, Those men who ride mountains Bend to the wind, Top to bottom, side to side
Looking for the ultimate ride." I just thought this quote was really cool cause i surf and it's totally true that you look for the ultimate ride, every time you go out you're looking for the best ride, and you won't go in until you catch it.

    4. My freshman year i didnt concentrate on school the way i should have. I ended the year with a terrible GPA and didn't correct myself the whole year even though i knew i could do better. i also knew that to play college soccer i couldn't be doing this. so my sophomore year i turned myself around and became more studious and now i actually have a chance for a good future in college.

  2. That's a very good example of an ethical decision. This happens all too often where people don't try hard their freshman year and start off on the wrong foot. Good job turning it around your sophomore year! It's too bad more students can't do this...
